Naval Mounted Gendai By Mituyasu
This gendai-to has some of the best work I have ever seen in a WWII era sword. Its unfortunate that I don't have any info about the smith. It might even be a Taisho period piece. I am sure there is information about this guy because its hard to believe he made this great sword one day out of the blue. Its a great research piece for sure. The sword has a cutting edge that is 26 1/8" long. The hamon is sugu with sunagashi and kinsuji and very fine ko-nei. It is mounted in very nice deluxe early Kyu Gunto fittings with same saya. This sword would defiantly be worth a polish.
