Exquisite Late Edo Japanese Tansu With Family Mon
The pictures just do not do this stunning piece justice. This late Edo Japanese tansu has exquisite iron work and a beautiful red-black brown lacquered surface. It is a large dresser size tansu with 3 large drawers, 3 smaller drawers and 3 even smaller drawers behind a door that locks. The 3 large drawers have a wooden bar that locks them shut, all the other drawers also lock. This one will look good in any home or office.
