A Gendai Katana by Hokke Saburo Nobufusa.
This is a nice Gendai katana by Hokke Saburo Nobufusa (法華三郎信房). The sword is mounted in high grade gunto mounts with the rare patent pending extended type Ichizuke. The saya has a nice leather combat cover. It looks to be made in the Yamato tradition. The hamon is a sugu with with a slight wave containing kinsuji and sunagashi. The hada is mix of tight itame and mokume with masame on the cutting edge. The swords is in full new full polish.. The cutting edge is 26 1/2" long. Priced for a fast sale!!
