A Yasu Kuni Shrine Sword By Yasumitsu
This is very nice Gunto mounted katana by Yasumitsu. The sword is dated showa 12 6th month (June of 1938). The blade is flawless with bright ko nei based sugu hamon and tight itame hada. The shape of the sword reminds me of a Kamakura period tachi with elegant curve fumbari and small point. This sword is truly a masterpiece. The blade has a 26 1/4" long cutting edge.
