Nice Gunto Mounted Late Koto Early Shinto Hizen Wakizashi
This is a very nice Gunto mounted Hizen wakizashi. The cutting edge is 22 1/8" long. It is in almost perfect polish and has a very silver foil habaki. The hamon is an nice active sugu with pronounced nei. The the family crest of the owner is on the end of the tsuka. This is a quality sword and is appealing to both military collectors and serious Nihon-to collectors.
