A Custom Ordered Gendai by Hokke Saburo Nobufusa.
This is an very nice Gendai katana by Nobufusa. The sword is mounted in gunto mounts. It is made in the Yamato Tegai tradition. The hamon is a very active undulating sugu with kinsuji and sunagashi. The hada is mix of itame and mokume with masame on the cutting edge. The tang is inscribed that it was made for a Mr. Maeda. The cutting edge is 26 11/16".
