An Early Imperial Japanese Gunto Mounted Mantestu Sword
This is a very nice Koa Isshin Mantetsu. The Katana is in very nice shape with its original tassel. The scabbard has a tag with what looks to be the Japanese owners name and address. The blade cutting edge is 26 1/4" long. The sword is signed Koa Isshin Mantetsu saku dated Showa Mizunoto Hitsuji Haru (spring 1943).
